Unlock the Power of Belief
Unlock the Power of Belief, and unlock your potential to expand those old belief systems. Welcome to my blog! Today, we’re diving into a transformative topic: the power of belief. We’re going to explore how belief systems shape our lives, how they manifest in our energy fields, and how to align them with our true, authentic selves. I invite you to join me on this journey of self-discovery and empowerment.
Understanding the Energetic Frequency of Belief
Belief systems are like the framework of a building in your human energy field. Imagine constructing a house: the initial wood framework or the sturdy metal braces of a high-rise hospital. Similarly, belief systems form a structure within your energy field. Some beliefs are light and flexible, like the wood framework of a house, while others are rigid and heavy, akin to metal structures passed down through generations.
In today’s world, we are experiencing massive frequency changes, which can cause us to bump up against these solid structures, making them feel stuck and immovable. Let’s explore some common belief systems and how they impact our lives. Read Dr Patrick Keelans article on the impact of internal negative beliefs.
My Journey with Belief Systems
One of the belief systems I had to confront was the notion that I wasn’t smart enough to be a nurse. Despite working in Human Resources and assisting hospital employees with their benefits, the idea of becoming a nurse seemed unattainable. My high school teachers never considered me college material, and I internalized this belief for years. However, I eventually overcame this barrier, became a registered nurse, and had a fulfilling career before retiring.
Another belief system I encountered was during a sacred walk with the Canoncito Band in New Mexico. The 14-mile walk to a sacred site seemed impossible, given my weight and lack of athleticism. Despite my efforts to prepare, I couldn’t shake the belief that I wouldn’t make it. However, the power of group energy and support helped me complete the walk, teaching me the importance of community, collective belief, and the “You Can Do IT” attitude!
Teaching Intuition and Spiritual Knowledge
When people started asking me to teach them how to be intuitive, I doubted my ability. I believed I wasn’t spiritually knowledgeable enough. I thought spiritual teachers had to meditate on mountaintops for years to gain the necessary insights. However, I’ve learned that sharing my knowledge and experiences, despite my imperfections, can be valuable and enriching for others. Just like your wisdom and knowledge can uplift those around you regardless of your training.
Beliefs Passed Down from Parents
Our parents instill many belief systems in us, often unconsciously. These beliefs can relate to gender roles, behavior, education, and more. For instance, we might be taught that girls should be seen and not heard or that boys should be strong and unemotional. As we grow older, we may need to deprogram these beliefs to align with our true selves. Ignite your inner root, a blog post of survival. Often our beliefs add the guardrails to feel safe in life.
Have you ever asked your parents where their belief systems came from? I have found myself met with the statement, “That is just the way things have always been.”
Religious Beliefs
Religious beliefs can have a profound impact on our lives. Depending on the religious culture we were raised in, we might hold beliefs that are supportive and balanced or rigid and dogmatic. For example, some people are taught that meditation and intuitive development are the work of the dark side. In other cultures, like Hinduism and Buddhism meditation and intuitive development is a higher level of spiritual learning. It’s essential to examine these beliefs and discern which ones align with our authentic selves.
Work and Job-Related Beliefs
Society often places value on certain professions over others. We might believe that being a lawyer, doctor, teacher, or engineer is more respectable than being an artist, dancer, or musician. These beliefs can limit our potential and keep us from pursuing our true passions.
Additionally, beliefs about education can influence our self-worth. I attended a community college for nursing, but I felt ashamed to admit it because of societal perceptions regarding which college deserves greater respect. However, the quality of education I received was excellent, and I had a successful career.
Beliefs About Intelligence and the Unknown
Many people believe that intelligent individuals don’t entertain ideas about aliens, Bigfoot, or psychic phenomena. However, I’ve found that many highly educated individuals are open-minded and willing to explore various possibilities. It’s crucial to challenge these limiting beliefs and remain open to new information.
Academic intelligence is considered a necessary element to place on a resume. You can be highly academic, with immature emotional behaviors. You can be of high academic substance, with mature emotions to work with other people, but will turn around and discount intuitive intelligence.
Political Beliefs
Political beliefs can be deeply ingrained and polarizing. Whether you align with Republicans or Democrats, it’s important to recognize that rigid beliefs can prevent us from hearing each other’s perspectives. We are living in a time of significant change, and it’s vital to develop intuitive intelligence to navigate these complexities.
Developing Intuitive Intelligence
Intuitive intelligence is becoming increasingly valuable in today’s world. It involves using our intuition to make informed decisions, even when the data looks perfect on paper. For example, a team might have a strong presentation, but an intuitive sense might suggest waiting before proceeding. This ability can prevent costly mistakes and guide us towards better outcomes.
Aligning Beliefs with Your True Self
To unlock the power of belief, it’s essential to align your beliefs with your true, authentic self. Start by identifying the beliefs you hold as truths and examine whether they are genuinely aligned with your soul. Create a list of beliefs you want to adopt, such as believing in your ability to achieve your goals, the goodness of the world, and the presence of kindness.
Transforming Your Energy Field
When your beliefs are aligned with your authentic self, your energy field radiates with warmth and brilliance. This alignment allows you to feel connected to your higher self and Source. Conversely, when you hold onto false beliefs, your energy field becomes blocked and rigid, pushing your soul’s light further away from your human body.
One of the topics in my Intuitive Development course is; What do you hold on to as a belief as pure truth but it is a lie that you are not willing to let go of? Before I walked the 14-mile journey, with a lack of athletic resilience and extra weight, I held a belief that someone like me would not be able to do it. My belief system turned out to be a lie that I was not willing to let go of.
Just a generation ago, it was a belief that women could only be teachers or nurses. It was unheard of to be a scientist, astronaut, or brain surgeon. Fortunately, many women and men challenged those archaic beliefs opening all career options to everyone.
Share Your Journey
I encourage you to reflect on your belief systems and share your experiences in the comments. What beliefs did you hold that turned out to be false? What new beliefs do you want to adopt? Your stories can inspire others and create a supportive community.
Remember, you have the power to choose what you believe in and where to invest your energy. By aligning your beliefs with your true self, you can unlock the full potential of your soul’s light and create a life filled with authenticity and joy.
Thank you for joining me on this exploration of belief systems. I look forward to connecting with you in my next blog post. Don’t forget to sign up for the intuitive-style questionnaire on my website.

What a superb blog Nancy. I can tick many of the boxes, especially the religious
βAbuseβ one! I had a beautiful intuitive realisation today, my eyesight is not good,
maybe requiring surgery. I was not seen or heard as a child (a replacement child)
For the perfect one that died. And I have not seen or heard myself! My mantra
has changed from this moment. A couple of yearβs ago when my eyes were
tested, the optician asked if blindness was in the family? I was deeply shocked at
her lack of sensitivity, and said no. I laughed when I heard that comment this morning, from my intuition! My eyesight and inner hearing are improving as from today! Deep blessings on all your sharings, always spot on! Marge ππ΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ ΏππWhat an amazing story, thank you for sharing it.
