Body Time – Spirit Time
Your body is energy, part of your spiritual energy, created to live on earth. Your body is physical matter, perfectly formed to be in alignment with the physical and spiritual lessons you can only learn while inhabiting a human body. Your physical body learns by working with time, space, emotions, mental thoughts, love relationships, life and death.
Your spirit learns by working within the realms of no time, no space, and living purely in the moment, because in the spirit world everything exists all at the same point. Your spirit does not have emotions, and only works with the frequency of love, healing, balance and neutrality (no judgement or criticism). Your spirit does not have to mentally think, because it has access to all the universal knowledge. Your spirit does not have to learn through relationships, because your spirit is in relationships with everyone and loves everyone. Your spirit does not have to deal with the ups and downs of life and death, because your spirit is vibrant, full of life and never dies.
The relationship between your body and spirit is meant to be symbiotic so that you can rely on each other for the best outcomes of both. Your spirit has a strong desire in assisting you to learn your human lessons well therefore guides you to make healthy human decisions. You as a human, always has full choice when it comes to following your spirits guidance or not. Your spirit does not say, well you did not listen to me therefore I will not every guide you again. No, your spirit loves that you can make choices and wants to support you knowing that any choice you make, is filled with valuable lessons.
There is a spiritual technique that you can do quite easily. It is called the Body Clock, Spirit Clock. So right now, I invite you to stop, close your eyes and ask your body what time it is? If your body was a clock what time would it show? Then repeat the same enquiry with your spirit. If your spirit was a clock, what time would your spirit be? Now, keep those times in mind as I give you some examples.
When your physical time is ahead of your spiritual time, this means that you will place value and importance of your human experiences before your spiritual lessons. This can be easy to do in this current time on our earth when human suffering involved. Whether it is physical health, financial health, loss of companionship, lack of food, water, and mental health. When your human self has any one of these concerns, you can feel challenged to remember you have a spirit that can help ease the burden. When you have all of these issues at the same time, it can be even a greater challenge, to rise above and remember to reach out to God the creator for comfort. Therefore, your physical time is ahead of your spirit time. By taking time in prayer and meditation daily, you remember you are spirit and this allows your spirit time to move ahead. This is called, giving your problems, up to the Creator, Letting Go, and surrendering to the divine!
Yes, ideally, you want your spirit time to be ahead of your physical clock. Yet, your spirit time can be far, far ahead of your body time. You CAN be so much in the spirit world that are not any earthly good to yourself or anyone. We, as light workers, can chase the light so far out of our body that you end up chasing one physical ailment after another as your body is trying to get your spirit to slow down and notice that you even have a body. To slow your spirit down to a pace, that your body can keep up with, requires grounding your spiritual light through your human body and down to the center of the earth. Infusing your light body with your human body and earth body. When your spirit is above your body, your life follows the path of Karma and past lives. When your spirit is grounded in your body, your life follows the choice in the moment path.
When your body clock and spirit clock are within 2-4 hours of each other helps your body and spirit work together as a team. To bring the two clocks together requires grounding of your energy field. The body grounds, so when you Let go, surrender, or give it up to God, your grounding supports your body through the shifts. When your spirit grounds through your physical body, into the earth body and anchors there, then your spirit has a clue of what is going on in the body and in the earth. When we are disconnected from our spirit, we are more prone to abuse our body and abuse mother earth. Our spirit can not pick up on the subtle signals if it is not included in your life.
Life before my out of body experience, was filled with working, going to nursing school, and taking care of two young children. I often skipped meals, never drank enough water, drank coffee until midnight, slept 4 hours a night, and I had so much energy that I flew through my day.
Life after my out of body experience taught me that I was way out of my body. Clearly my spirit was so far ahead, and my body was sending me signals from every direction, that I successfully ignored, until I could not longer ignore it. I can imagine the conversation went kind of like this, “Lets just throw Nancy completely out of her body, so she can see she is a spirit. I bet she won’t be able to ignore us this time?” No, they were correct, that time, I was no longer able to ignore that I had a physical human body.
As I learned to be in relationship with my body, I often felt hungry, sleepy, fatigued, and thirsty. The manner in which I spoke slowed down in pace, how I walked slowed down. I began to notice nature more as I grew in my connection with the earth. What I realized the most? My human body was pissed as hell with anger towards my spirit. My body was furious as how I never fed it, watered it, took nice walks with it, and never allowed my body to take naps or sleep all night. When I began to have conversations with my body, all heck broke loose and for several years it was, ” and, another thing!!!”, waving its finger at me as my body assured me, it was not done with me yet.
It took me a good 10 years to really get my body to trust that if it said it needed sleep, that I would go to bed. How do you build trust with a child, a parent, a partner? You follow through with, take action with, what you committed to do, not sometimes, but EVERY TIME! Having a healthy relationship with your body requires that when you can not follow through with a promise, then you converse with your body to explain why. Do not ignore your body. However, the opposite is true as well. When your body wants to eat a gallon of icecream, then you as spirit must step in and limit the bodies request. You do this to support your bodies health, even if it is kicking and screaming for the mocha almond fudge for the 10th day in a row. Your body uses addictions to feel better, when ignored by your own spirit. You will find that as you build a stronger bond with your body and mother earth, your addictions no longer need to serve you because you are comforted now, by your own spirit, your relationship with earth/nature, and the God of your heart.
Meditation does not slow you down. Meditation calls your spirit to your body and you fall into the natural flow and rhythm of that thing called life. During this Global Pandemic, the pace of life is naturally slowing down to more align with pulse of our earthly nature. This is a good thing. For some we find great joy in aligning our heart beat with the earth heartbeat. Others feel unsettled in their body as the imbalances shift and change to morph into the butterfly. As the two clocks of you come more into balance within 2-4 hours, you may find greater ease working together.
Now, as I begin to wrap up this lesson, I want to share one more tip here: When your body and spirit have a nice timing going on and can work together as a team, together they will create lessons that are either human based or spirit based. When you are out in the world, shopping, taking dance classes, running a meeting at work, or having lunch with friends, those are outside in lessons. You have an experience out in the world and then integrate all the happened on the inside of you. Meditating, praying, or sitting out in nature, is an inside out lesson. Meaning, you sit into quiet stillness until the inner turbulence calms and then when you go out into the world, you bring calmness to your outer world.
Body Time – Spirit Time
An example of outside in learning, could be something like this; You have gone to the store and while shopping, someone stole your purse out of the cart. Everything is gone to include your credit card to pay for the groceries, your cell phone, so you can not even call your family, and your car keys so even if you could get a ride home you can not get into your house. Later, after the cards are canceled, and you made it home, you go inside to meditate, run your energy to calm the turbulence of the event.
Inside out example is going into meditation, noticing you have inner turbulence, come back to calm, and then when you go to the store it is so calm and peaceful in and around you that your purse may not even get stolen. I much prefer the clear my human energy field so that I have calm lessons every day. However, I am a spirit but I also have a body and sometimes my body needs to just have its own experiences. We must live a human life for those human lessons. You and your body, after all, are a team! You are here together, so might as well play together well too!

Hello Nancy, firstly I’d like to thank you for this profound learning and I am truly grateful for this.
I wanted to say that my spiritual clock keeps coming up as no time .. timeless. Could you enlighten me or give me your understanding of this, please?
I meditate daily and have been aware of spirit since I was 3yrs. old. I am also a Mindfulness teacher.

Sharon xHello Sharon, Thank you for your comment and question. Honestly, I do not know what your spirit clock is showing up as no time or timeless. We are living in a time that is called the time of no time. However, I would suggest that you continue to meditate on this and ask your own spirit to deepen the clarity of understanding. My first sense is that your spirit may be very high above your body. Is there any other energy between you and your own soul? I do not feel a sense of concern, simply curiosity.
